Hi, I'm Carol!

After I retired, I wanted to learn how to take my camera off auto! It's been an interesting journey. It seemed very confusing at first, but each day seems a little easier.
I've had the opportunity to travel to several destinations, and my camera has been my way of recording my memories of the people and places that I have seen.

Photography has changed my life!

Photography helps me look at the world in a different way. I now notice shapes & patterns that I never seen before and I want to photograph them. I seem to look for leading lines, naturally occurring frames in the landscape and reflections in bodies of water. otography

My favorite Photo

Sheikh Zayed Mosque - Abu Dhabi

I have a difficult time choosing my favorite photo. It is a similar task to choosing my favorite song, or favorite food. It's not easy.

I find that the photo that might be my favorite today will change by next month, and that is because I tend to get attached to the most recent photos I have taken. With that said, this photo is my favorite this month...haha. By next month I hope I will have taken a new photo that I love even more!
